JON WARECH

Jon Warech is a non-fiction writer based in Miami Beach, FL who recently co-authored the leadership book Slam-Dunk Success with Byron Scott and Charles Norris. He collaborated with television star Kendra Wilkinson on her New York Times bestselling memoir, Sliding Into Home, published in July 2010 by Gallery Books. He also collaborated with Full House actress Jodie Sweetin to write UnSweetined – a memoir detailing her struggle with alcohol and drug addiction – that was published in November 2009 by Gallery Books.

Prior to memoir collaborations, Jon worked as a writer/reporter for various news outlets including People magazine, Us weeklyOK! magazine,AOL's Mandatory.com, Playboy.com, Vegas, Hamptonsthe New York Daily NewsVibe magazine, The Miami HeraldESPN the Magazine and ESPN.com. He was also a columnist for the Miami Sun Post. With an emphasis in entertainment and pop-culture, his work ranges from breaking news, courtroom coverage and in-depth interviews to red carpet events, fashion and high profile celebrity weddings.

Jon also spent time as an editor for MSN's entertainment site Wonderwall.com where he wrote humorous celebrity-related features, monologue-style video scripts and breaking entertainment news stories. He has also written for Entertainment TonightOcean Drive, Gotham, American Way, Venice and various other publications.
